Widows’ Support Program – Bariga, Lagos
The St. Hannah Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to uplift widows and vulnerable women by providing compassion-driven support that restores dignity, hope, and stability.
In line with this commitment, the Foundation successfully carried out a Widows’ Support Program in Bariga, Lagos State—an impactful outreach designed to address immediate needs while fostering a sense of belonging and care within the community.
Program Details
The outreach was hosted at Champions Place Church, located at 35, Ilaje Road, Bariga, Lagos, through a strategic partnership with the church.
The program recorded the attendance of over 200 widows, reflecting both the scale of need within the community and the trust placed in the Foundation’s work.
Relief & Support Distributed
To help ease daily challenges faced by the beneficiaries, essential household and personal care items were distributed, including:
Rice
Garri
Tomato paste
Toothbrushes
Slippers
Other basic necessities
Each item was thoughtfully selected to provide practical assistance and immediate relief to widows and their households.
Impact & Significance
Beyond material support, the Widows’ Support Program served as a powerful reminder that widows are not forgotten.
